A horror game with Garfield characters

The Last Monday is a horror game demo featuring Garfield, a comic character who loves lasagnas and hates Mondays. In this parody title by Alex Craig, the player—who assumes the role of Jon—walks over to Garfield on the doorstep, asking the orange feline to find his lost key.

Uncover the game’s mind-boggling lore

Jon finds a garage door opener in a dog house and opens the garage, only for him to get a glimpse of someone—or something—inside, prompting Garfield to block the door. Jon picks up the key on the doorstep, unlocks the buckhead door, and Garfield pushes him down to the basement.

Then, the player completes various tasks, from spray painting peculiar sigils to cracking a safe’s code to preparing lasagna. The game’s lore is cryptic as it is fascinating, keeping players intrigued—though piecing everything can be a puzzling experience. Keep in mind that this title is prone to frame drops.

Players are in for a wild ride

Though it’s a demo, The Last Monday will make your jaw drop to the ground—especially if you’ve pieced together the game’s fascinatingly cryptic lore. Not only that, it also features characters from the Garfield comics, which is a plus for some fans. However, expect this title to have frame drops.
